This core component of the Cority system stores employees' personal and work information and can be interfaced with a wide variety of host systems including SAP® and PeopleSoft® for the automatic download of personnel data (programs for the download of demographic data and related tables are included within the Cority system). Demographic data captured by this module include employee name, address, date of birth, date of hire, social insurance (security number), supervisor, and work status. It also captures information about employees' job position, department, location and surveillance group. Emergency contact information as well as a history of medical conditions (with start and end dates) and restrictions (with start, review and end dates and flags for permanent /occupational) is also captured.
This chapter explains how to:
enter an employee’s demographic information including personal information, contact information, related surveillance groups, PPEs required, and their job position capabilities (see Recording Basic Employee Information)
view an employee’s allergies and enter new ones (see Recording Allergies)
view an employee’s medical conditions and enter new ones (see Recording Medical Conditions)
view an employees work restrictions and enter new ones (see Recording Work Restrictions)
view SEGs and agents related to the employee’s job, and assign the employee to an SEG (see Associating an Employee with an SEG)
capture employee consent or view which health centers already have consent to view and create medical records (see Employee Consent).
view an employee’s medications and contraindications, enter new ones, and issue prescriptions (see Recording Medications and Contraindications)
view a list of medical information that has been identified as a problem for the currently selected employee (see Working with the Problem List).
