Working with Surveys and Samples

Create survey records to comprehensively manage your sample activity. A sample plan function allows you to identify required sample activity. The system will keep track of your progress relative to the sample plan and your actual sample activity (see also About the Survey Module).

Create and manage sample data related to chemical, biological and physical stressors (i.e. radiation, heat stress, vibration) in the Monitoring module (see also About the Monitoring Module). Noise dosimetry, sound level measurements and octave band analysis data are stored in the Noise Monitoring module (see also About the Noise Monitoring Module).

If you often collect both types of samples at the same time (Monitoring and Noise), you can add an action to a custom layout that allows you to copy key information from a record in one monitoring module to a new record in the other monitoring module.

Most sample records are associated with an employee. While working with a sample record, you can assign the employee to an SEG, send the employee a personal sampling notification letter, print a blank sampling form, and initiate an action to protect the employee from a hazard.
